Jack the Radio's "Wild West Woman" - NEW TRACK

On August 26th, 2014 North Carolina's Jack the Radio will officially debut their first new studio track since 2012 online (at jacktheradio.bandcamp.com) and as a limited 7-inch vinyl single.

After releasing the acoustic live-concert album Devil In Here last fall, the slide-slinging roots rockers have plugged in and hit the studio to record a fresh batch of songs that see them returning to form with the gritty, foot-stomping sound that helped earn them a solid reputation in the local music community.

Titled Wild West Woman, the two-track album will feature the new release "Wheels" as an A-side, and includes "Just What I Need (Reprise)" as a B-side. "Just What I Need" was first heard on Jack the Radio's debut album, and has been featured prominently on many national and international television placements. On a particularly restless day at Chapel Hill's Warrior Sound, the band decided to record an updated take on the tune reflecting its evolution over years of live performances.

This new track is the first teaser for the band's next studio album, tentatively scheduled for release in early 2015.
