New album coming in 2015! Back in the studio!

Hey y'all.  We wanted to share some updates on our studio progress.  We have been busy writing and recording off and on for almost two years.  While we put out the live, stripped down album during that time we are focused and eager for you guys to hear our first studio album in two years.

So far we've created some of that traditional Jack the Radio mud-rock sound and some tracks mixed with a darker edge.  Last night was a productive session tracking vocals at ‪Warrior Sound‬ in Chapel Hill for the new album.

Here's a tease of a new track called "Leaves" with Chris laying down a harmony over George and A.C. vocal tracks:

"Carolina Mud" on USA Network's Graceland

Sending a shout out to the fine folks at USA Network for using Jack the Radio's "Carolina Mud" during this great scene on last night's episode of Graceland!!!  We enjoy the show and great seeing our song used in a great scene with two ladies, a shotgun and talk of cheeseburgers.

Boardwalk Empire!

We are excited to announce "Carolina Mud" has been featured on the HBO season 2 recap episode of Boardwalk Empire! You may recognize the tune about 34 seconds in. First episode of season 3 airs tonight, 9/16.

Hear it from Hutch: Local bands on the move
